1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Seneca mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by DePaor Group ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have parental or legal guardian consent.

The Service is not directed at children under 13.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

The Service may require a paid subscription.

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized payment providers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are governed by the policies of the relevant app store or payment provider.
• We do not store full payment card details.

Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in loss of access to premium features.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All software, branding, design, structure, features, AI systems, and proprietary content within the Service are owned by DePaor Group and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy
• Distribute
• Modify
• Reverse engineer
• Resell
• Exploit commercially

any part of the Service without prior written consent.

5.2 Public Domain Works

Certain literary works available within the Service are public domain texts. We do not claim ownership of public domain materials.

Public domain sourcing details are provided in the Public Domain Notice section of the app.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit reflections, notes, or other content:

• You retain ownership of your content.
• You grant DePaor Group a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
• You represent that your content does not violate the rights of others.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service may generate content using artificial intelligence systems. AI-generated content:

• Is provided for informational and educational purposes only
• Does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice
• May contain inaccuracies or errors

You are responsible for how you use any generated content.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
• Scrape or extract data from the platform
• Circumvent subscription systems
• Use the Service in a harmful or abusive manner

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

You may cancel your account at any time through the app or by contacting hello@senecachat.com.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding:

• Reliability
• Availability
• Fitness for a particular purpose

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DePaor Group shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Service interruptions

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Service in the previous 12 months.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
